One star, plus its nearest neighbours.
Use the shape of a tap to make sense of the sixteen-light board.
A centre tap changes five lights.
Worked example · not your current boardRead bright and dim
Each star has a visible state and a labelled control. Your target is sixteen glowing stars. A dark cell is not a disabled button; it can still be selected.
A tap makes a cross
The chosen star and its up, down, left and right neighbours change state. Diagonal cells are unaffected. At an edge or corner, the cross stops at the board boundary.
Reverse before you repeat
Selecting the same cell twice reverses its effect. Undo tap restores the previous board in one step. Use these controls to compare a change rather than guessing at the whole board at once.
Start another arrangement
New lights produces another solvable board. Reloading also clears the current attempt. Touch, pointer or keyboard activation can select a cell; completion is a visual result with no stake or prize.
